Services
Kulturalis offers all stages of the publishing process. We can provide our expertise in all of the areas listed below, or a selection as required.
Project Management
Each project will be assigned a project manager from our strong network of freelancers. This provides a personal contact throughout the life of the project and ensures each stage of the process meets the expectations of the institution.
Editorial/Design
Our network of freelancers allows us to select the right editor and designer for each project to meet the varying needs of different partners. While we can offer our expertise in the design of books of this type, we also appreciate that each institution has its own aesthetic, and we will accommodate this in the design process.
Translation
We offer translations to and from any language in the world, using translators with an understanding of the material to ensure accuracy and accessibility to readers. This includes Braille editions.
Printing
Our Production and Operations Director, Tim Clarke, has over 35 years’ experience producing the highest quality books for institutions like the Royal Collection Trust, the Met in New York, and the Sydney Opera House. Beautiful and accurate reproductions of artwork and objects are of highest priority.
Shipping
We deliver the final stock of printed books both to the institution and to our distribution warehouses.
Storage
We are able to offer storage solutions for a limited period, after which time any remaining stock in storage will be charged to the client.
Representation
Titles published with Kulturalis, will be showcased on our website, social media channels, in our catalogues and with our distribution partners. They will also be represented at trade fairs and conferences around the world and can be shared with other institutions in the Kulturalis community. We can also offer additional PR support for projects where the international marketing is a priority.
Distribution
We can distribute the English language edition of any title in the Worldwide Book Trade through our partners – ACC Art Books.
Connection
Publishing with us doesn’t have to end with the delivery of the final product. We strive to build a community of likeminded people, and joining the Kulturalis list means continuing relationships, new introductions, and invitations to our events both in the UK and abroad at trade fairs and conferences. Kulturalis is also a part of the newly founded Universal Art Group, connecting us and our partners with other prestigious art institutions in Europe.
