Hal Robinson

Freelance Business Consultant

Hal Robinson is an illustrated book publisher, digital entrepreneur and former cultural anthropologist. He is a business consultant with a special interest in human-centred AI and the role this can play in commercial ecosystems, particularly in connection with arts and culture. In publishing, he has worked as an author, editor, project manager, and illustrated book creator for international markets. He also ran an innovative software company specialising in content management for publishers.

He is currently writing about the differences between ‘human’ and ‘digital’ thinking in the dawning AI-age. Their divergence tends to increase cultural polarisation but his research suggests that creative synergies in commercial communities can reverse that trend.
