Kulturalis offers all stages of the publishing process.

Each of our partners has unique requirements, so depending on the resources and the reach of your institution, we can provide all of the below, or a selection as required.

Project Management

Each project will be assigned a project manager who will act as a personal contact throughout the life of the project and ensure each stage of the process meets the expectations of the institution.

Editorial/Design

Our strong network of freelancers also allows us to select the right editor and designer for each project to meet the varying needs of different partners. We appreciate that each institution has its own aesthetic and will accommodate this in the design process.

Translation

We offer translations both to and from any language in the world, using translators with an understanding of the material to ensure accuracy and accessibility to readers.

Printing

Beautiful and accurate reproductions are a major priority. Our Production Director, Tim Clarke, has experience producing the highest-quality books with institutions such as the Royal Collection Trust, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and Sydney Opera House.

Shipping

We deliver the final stock of printed books both to the institution and to our distribution warehouses.

Storage

We are able to offer storage options for a period of up to 12 months, after which time any remaining stock in storage will be charged to the client.

Representation

Titles published with Kulturalis are presented on our website, social media channels, in our catalogues and with our distribution partners. They are also represented at trade fairs and conferences around the world.

Accessibility

We have partners to produce titles in Braille in multiple languages and can also produce accompanying audio options.

Connection

Publishing with us doesn’t have to end with the delivery of the final product. Joining the Kulturalis list means continuing relationships, new introductions, and being part of a community of like-minded people.

Non-Book Products

In addition to printed books, Kulturalis is able to provide to services to support each publication, according to the needs of the institution.

We can develop browsable and interactive digital editions of titles, including hyperlinks, QR codes and videos which can be hosted on the institution’s website, or sold as an ebook in the trade.

With our extensive connections and experience, we are open to discussions on any additional content and related products requested by an institution, so please don’t hesitate to ask.

Distribution

All our partners have the option for the English-language edition of their publication to be distributed in the worldwide book trade, raising their international profile and generating global sales. Kulturalis produces all trade copies in addition to the commissioned print run at our own cost, and the commissioning institution receives royalties of 10% net profits, paid annually.

We are extremely proud to be partnered with ACC Art Books for the distribution of our titles: ACC Art Books is one of the world’s leading distributors of books on the arts and visual culture. They sell and market beautiful books to retailers and wholesalers worldwide, making sure that they are available to the widest possible audiences.

Our close relationship with ACC Art Books allows us to provide a responsive and informative service, ensuring each of our titles receives the right representation in the global market.
